Frantoio Badia
Frantoio Badia (the Badia Oil mill) is located in the town of Limbadi, in the province of Vibo Valentia.
The company's history is a century long: it was 1920 when Master Oil-Maker Domenico Corigliano decided to start an oil mill with stone millstones.
Over the years the company's focus has shifted to more advanced technologies, it has been enriched with environmentally friendly oil machines and has converted to organic farming.
The farm's land extends throughout an area over the hills, yet overlooking the sea, where olive trees of the native Ottobratica variety are grown. The oil produced is an Olio Extravergine BIO (Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil), from which other flavored oils are derived.
