Tenute Ferrocinto
Ferrocinto winery extends over 130 hectares in Castrovillari, in the province of Cosenza, in Pollino National Park. The 50 hectares of vineyards, with white and red berried grapes, produce Calabria PGI and Terre di Cosenza PDO wines.
The most representative vines are the native ones of the area (Montonico, Greco Bianco, Moscato, Pecorello, Magliocco Canino and Dolce, Aglianico and Calabrese), only a small part is planted with national and international vines (Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay).
The cultivation regime is in biological conversion, with the work of man in the vineyard aimed at preserving the characteristics of the terroir, operating in perfect harmony with nature. Each choice is the result of a perfect synthesis between centuries-old tradition and new technological acquisitions.
