Statti 1784
Since 1700 Baroni Statti family has been cultivating 500 hectares of land near Lamezia Terme, in the province of Catanzaro. Statti Wineries are now managed by Alberto and Antonio, who have chosen to capitalize on the deep link with the history and tradition of the area.
The vineyard covers an area of 100 hectares close to the hill, with rows systems and the classic, spurred cordon training technique. The grape yields are deliberately not high and the white and red grapes from which Lamezia PDO and Calabria PGI wines are obtained, come from both international vines and native vines. The cellar is modern and efficient, completed by an underground barrique cellar where the casks and barriques house the harvest selections chosen by expert oenologists.
Visiting the company means giving yourself an experience in nature, crossing the vineyard, the olive grove, the farms and appreciating a self-sustaining and sustainable supply chain, to conclude in the internal Degusteria and at the Emporium for purchases. On request, food and wine educational activities are also available.
