Cantine Chimento
Cantine Chimento family winery, founded in 1950, is now run by Vincenzo Chimento, extends for 15 hectares on the hills of Bisignano, in the province of Cosenza.
The splendid nineteenth-century farmhouse immersed in the vineyard and belonged to Acrese poet Vincenzo Padula, who spent his summer holidays here, is now home to an agritourism and tasting point where you can taste the wines produced, all Calabria PGI wines.
Qualitative excellence arises from the essentiality of the treatments in the vineyard, from the constancy and methodical work, it is obtained a healthy and natural product from the plant, which reflects fragrances and characteristics of the land of origin.
In addition to Magliocco and Greco, two ancient native Calabrian vines, there are international noble vines, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon, perfectly inserted in this exceptional habitat.
