Oleificio Gabro
Oleificio Gabro is located in Cassano all'Ionio (CS), exactly in the hamlet of Lauropoli.
The history of the Oleificio began in 1909 with Oronzo Brogna. The climate and the fertile soil on which the olive groves spread meant that the cultivation of choice was Organic Farming. In fact, the company became a pioneer in this field, producing its 100% Italian Organic Oil.
Over the years, production has developed and improved: the values of tradition have been linked to new technologies. The oil mill applies two different approaches for processing olives: crushing and classic milling.
The family wanted to create an oil Museum - the Gabro Museum. After visiting the Museum it is possible to have a Gabro Oil tasting. A tour of the oil mill is also possible upon request.
