Frantoio Ventre
Frantoio Ventre is located in the heart of the hills of Vibo Valentia.
The company's history has distant roots: the first oil mill came to life in 1849 with Francesco Farfaglia. The mill was handed-down from generation to generation, and in 1970 with Domenico Ventre the company's renewal began by expanding the land to 80 hectares. In 2001 the true Ventre oil mill was born with new technologies and state-of-the-art systems.
The entire production chain takes place in-home and all through mechanical means: harvesting, grinding, malaxing, extraction, storage, and bottling.
Frantoio Ventre's oil is an extra virgin olive oil that is divided into 3 varieties: Biologico (Organic), Monocultivar Carolea and Monocultivar Ottobratica.
Upon reservation, the farming mill provides a visit to the oil mill to learn and discover the entire oil production process and for a tasting experience.
