Azienda Agricola De Lorenzo & C.

The Azienda Agricola De Lorenzo & C. - once Società Agricola Calabrese - is located in the heart of the hills of Lamezia Terme (CZ).

The olive groves extend over 90 hectares of land in the Plain of Lamezia Terme, which is included in the production area of Lametia DOP oil. It is an area particularly suitable for the cultivation of olive trees, especially the Carolea cultivar variety.

The entire production cycle takes place within the Azienda Agricola De Lorenzo & C.: the harvest takes place from October to December and is carried out by collecting the olives directly from the tree and by mechanical means; then we move on to the processing of the product in the mill and bottling.

The products obtained are of two types: the extra virgin olive oil "i Tesori del Sole” (The Sun treasures) and the extra virgin olive oil "i Tesori del Sole" Lametia DOP. The first was awarded with the Silver Medal recognition at the DIO OC international competition in 2016; the second, in 2016 as well, won the Gold Award at the largest and most prestigious international competition in New York City (NYIIOC).

The Azienda Agricola De Lorenzo & C. offers overnight stay and a complete tour of the location: the cellar, the vineyards, the olive grove and taste sampling.
