Azienda Agricola Ceraudo
Azienda Agricola Ceraudo is located in the countryside of Strongoli, in the province of Crotone, inside a 17th century village, immersed in a 60-hectare garden of vineyards, olive groves and citrus orchards that stretch down to the sea on the Ionian coast.
The estate includes the Michelin-starred Dattilo restaurant, run by chef Caterina Ceraudo, and a series of charming accommodations with panoramic rooms overlooking the hills and a wonderful swimming pool surrounded by greenery.
The olive grove is the largest part of the estate, it covers 37 hectares and is planted with the indigenous varieties Carolea, Tonda di Strongoli and Fidusa, for a total of 14,000 olive trees and a production of about 400 quintals per year. Harvesting is not completely mechanised; combs are used for the centuries-old trees. The family mill allows cold pressing in a continuous cycle.
Ceraudo Organic Oil is spicy, with an aftertaste of almond and rosemary, and low in acidity.
