Feudo Gagliardi
Feudo Gagliardi farm was born in Caulonia, in the province of Reggio Calabria, in 1972, by Don Ciccio Vozzo. Passed on to his children, Vincenzo (agronomist) and Teresa (agricultural entrepreneur), continued the path of technological innovation without betraying peasant wisdom.
The 25 hectares available are planted with vines but also constitute an agritourism and educational farm, run according to the organic farming method since 1998. The wine is obtained from native vines that have given rise to Castrum Vetus, a Locride PGI red wine of great structure and personality.
The winery, which has obtained organic certification and adheres to the FIVI (Italian Federation of Independent Winegrowers), can be visited on a guided food and wine tour.
