Tenute Librandi - Società Agricola
Tenute Librandi is an estate in the heart of Vaccarizzo Albanese (CS) hills.
The history of the company begins towards the end of the 800’s with Michele Librandi; today there are about 200 hectares of olive groves and citrus groves. In 1997 all the land was converted to organic farming, certified by the Bioagricert control group recognized by the Mipaaf.
The following cultivars have been sown in the 150 hectares olive grove: Carolea, Dolce di Rossano, Nocellara del Belice, Frantoio, Roggianella, Coratina, Leccino, Nocellara Messinese, Nocellara Etnea, Giarraffa, Biancolilla.
Various orange varieties (Navel, Sanguinelle, Lane Late), clementines, tangerines and lemons are the citrus fruits grown in the Librandi Estates, and the basis for organic jams and marmalades.
Librandi oil has been awarded several times among the best organic products in Italy.
The family has also created the Agriturismo Tenute Librandi, a 5 rooms Bed & Breakfast.
