Le Carolee Gaetano

The Gaetano - Le Carolee estate is located in the municipality of Pianopoli - in the province of Catanzaro - and overlooks the Lamezia Terme Plain.

The farm revolves around two land holdings: the Gabella Estate and the Valle del Romito Estate. The first is a 27 hectares olive grove with Carolea-variety plants, located in the municipality of Pianopoli; the second is only 5 hectares of Carolea cultivars as well, but located in the municipality of Feroleto Antico.

All stages of the production cycle are processed within the company; the olives are harvested by shaker, processed in the estate mill with the cold-extraction method and the final product is then bottled.

Thus, the oil made here is named after "Le Carolee" and it's an organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil with the Lametia-PDO mark.

There are two ancient, fortified houses within the Gabella Estate - the Red House and the White House - which have been restored and improved and are now an Agritourism structure.
