Frantoio Chiera
Frantoio Chiera is located in the municipality of Isca sullo Ionio, in the province of Catanzaro.
Thanks to Francesco Chiera's propensity towards the oil sector, in 1906 Olio Chiera was created. At first, the olive oil production took place in the hamlet of Campoli in the municipality of Caulonia (RC).
In 1950, the new generation management decided to expand and create new olive groves also in the municipalities of Stilo (RC), Monasterace (RC) and Santa Caterina Ionio (CZ).
In 1988, always following in the footsteps of the family, production was further increased with new olive groves located in the municipalities of Isca sullo Ionio and Sellia Marina. In 1990 they arrived in Puglia, in the province of Taranto and in Salento.
The oil produced by Olearia Chiera is 100% Italian organic, extra virgin olive oil, with DOP certification.
