Azienda Agricola Sorelle Garzo
Azienda Agricola Sorelle Garzo (the Sorelle Garzo Farm) is located in the town of Seminara, in the province of Reggio Calabria.
The company was founded in 1965 by Pietrino Garzo, who purchased an olive oil mill. The land is characterized by centuries-old olive trees of the Ottobratica and Sinopolese varieties.
Over the years and with generational change, the olive mill was completely renovated, making way for a modern, continuous-cycle plant.
In the early 2000s the sisters began to design and then market their own brand of extra virgin olive oil: Dolciterre. The entire production process is handled in-house by the company: harvesting, extraction, storage and bottling.
The Sorelle Garzo Farm offers the possibility of guided tours during which it is possible to witness the olive harvest and the oil production processes, ending with a tasting.
