Osteria del Vicolo

In the heart of the Pollino National Park, the historic village of Mormanno, in the province of Cosenza, is home to Osteria del Vicolo, founded by Pina in the 60s and managed by her children, Francesco and Vincenzo Armentano, together with Catia Corbelli, Francesco's wife.  

The gastronomic philosophy marries the raw materials of the Pollino, starting from local wines, with the use of ingredients such as the typical legumes of these mountains, fresh pasta, vegetables and meats of the area, accompanied by mushrooms, truffles and a wise use of wild herbs. 

 Among the specialties of the house, the local lentil soup and the tagliolini with cream of white beans of the”poverello” (the pauper).
