Locanda Pecora Nera
La Pecora Nera inn, awarded with the Slow Food Snail mark, lies in the enchanting woods of the Sila National Park, in Albi, within the province of Catanzaro.
The owners, Raffaella and Stefano, offer a place to relax and enjoy traditional cuisine, based on organic and seasonal ingredients, such as vegetables from their own garden.
Among the specialties of the house: pork shank, Calabrian buffalo mozzarella, herb-flavored cheese, and pasta with chickpeas. The still water served on the table comes directly from the Callistro spring (1,600 m).
