Tenute Pacelli
Pacelli Estate, in Malvito, in the province of Cosenza, includes the possessions of an ancient 18th century residence and extends over 10 hectares of vineyards planted with both native (Magliocco Dolce, Calabrese, Greco Bianco) and national (Sangiovese, Trebbiano, Barbera) and international (Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah) vines, all grown organically.
The vinification of Calabria PGI takes place alone or in blends, with aging in stainless steel and bottle or in wooden barrels and bottle. From the oldest vines of the company come Zio Nunù, the first Bordeaux-style Calabrian cut, and Pauciuri, a mix of Barbera and Magliocco. Finally, the outsider: the champenoise method sparkling wine, Riesling.
The company has large apartments to accommodate wine tourism lovers, as well as for a simple tasting.
