Tenuta Dioscuri
Dioscuri Estate, in Bianco, along Costa dei Gelsomini, province of Reggio Calabria, belongs to a family story that begins in the 19th century.
The wine business was started by Michele Nicita, an eclectic man gifted with great intuition, who was the first to initiate the transformation of local grapes to meet the demands of the local pubs and taverns.
Over time, the passion handed down for generations, has reached his nephew, Flavio Latella, who today continues the family tradition by breeding native grapes (Greco di Bianco and Mantonico Bianco) to produce Greco di Bianco PDO passito (raisin wine) and national and international grapes (Malvasia and Syrah) for Calabria PGI wines subjected to long periods of aging in french oak barriques and terracotta jars.
