La Peschiera

Located in the Esaro Valley, in San Lorenzo del Vallo area in the province of Cosenza, La Peschiera winery is owned by Bombini Gallo family, led by the brothers Alessandro, Flaviana and Daniela.

A family history that has its roots in the mid-18th century, as a liquorice ashlar of the Longo family. In the 1950s the heirs, Luigi Longo and his wife Virginia Bombini, expanded the crops of the farm also to include silkworm farms. In the 70s the management passed to the homonymous niece and her husband Fernando Gallo, who handed it down to their three sons, the current producers, making it a winery of excellence.

Currently the estate covers 120 hectares. The native vines of the ancient tradition (Aglianico, Greco Bianco, Magliocco, Mantonico, Moscato and Pecorello) express the authentic character of the territory through the Terre di Cosenza PDO wines: two reds, Siamisi and San Lorenzo, the white Jentilino and the rosé Abbaruna.
