Cantina Enotria
Enotria winery was born in 1974 in Cirò Marina, in the province of Crotone, by the will of three partners, Cataldo Calabretta, Gaetano Cianciaruso and Armando Susanna.
Their desire was to create an artisan cellar based on direct contact between the grower and the consumer, to shorten the supply chain and produce real wines, representative of the vineyard, the territory, and the people. Today the team has expanded and is managed by Saverio Calabretta and Armando Susanna, respectively son and grandson of the founders.
The production philosophy of the company remains that of its origins, making use of 60 hectares divided into five suggestive districts between the sea and the hills cultivated with Cirò PDO wine, under the expert management of Tonino Guzzo. With skilful care, international and native varieties are produced (Greco Bianco, Pecorello, Magliocco, Gaglioppo and Nerello Calabrese).
The cellar, on Statale 106, is divided into steel fermenters, glass bricks and oak barriques for ageing. Processes are rather artisanal but supported by the best technologies, to get the best out of the productions.
Enotria welcomes visitors in its structure by reservation.
