Azienda Vinicola Malaspina

Malaspina winery was founded in 1967 in Melito di Porto Salvo, province of Reggio Calabria, when Consolato Malaspina decided to invest in his passion for oenology. Since then, the love for the area has been handed down to his four daughters, Domenica, Caterina, Irene and Patrizia.

The vineyards, located in Dareri district, are about 600 meters above sea level. and are treated both in sapling and espalier with the production of native grapes (Nocera, Calabrese Nero, Gaglioppo and Magliocco), with a density of 5,000 plants per hectare.

The company's goal consists in enhancing the local varieties of Palizzi PGI and Calabria PGI wine through 7 highly recognizable labels.
