Azienda Vinicola Librandi

Librandi winery has been synonymous with passion for the vineyard and wine for three generations. Born in 1953, with a small cellar in the center of Cirò Marina, in the province of Crotone, since 2012 is now run by Raffaele, Paolo, Francesco and Teresa Librandi, while Walter and Daniela Librandi are respectively responsible for the bottling and the shareholding structure.

In the land of Cirò and Melissa PDO wines and of Calabria PGI produced from indigenous sapling vines (Gaglioppo and Greco are the main varieties), the company has 6 estates, for a total of 232 hectares of vineyards, and the collaboration of top experts in the viticultural and oenological sector involved in research and territorial sustainability activities, so as to obtain the Equalitas certification and complete a project that led to the creation of the Experimental Varietal Gardens, a collection that preserves about 200 regional native varieties.

Among the awards received, Tre Bicchieri Gambero Rosso (2023) and Best Wine of Italy (2022).

Concetta and Enza, wives of Antonio and Nicodemo, manage "'A Casedda", the artistic-cultural residence space obtained from the renovation of a nineteenth-century farmhouse within the same complex of the cellar, where exhibitions, courses and presentations are hosted.
