Azienda Nesci
Nesci family winery boasts ancient origins from Messina. She moved to Palizzi, a Greek center in the province of Reggio Calabria in the 1600s and cultivated on the land, acquired a love for winemaking, that has been handed down for over five generations.
Today the estate boasts a technologically advanced factory, at the forefront of the market, managed with a modern and flexible approach capable of enhancing and identifying all phases of the production chain. It covers an area of 9 hectares, with 5 vines, 3 of which are international (Merlot, Sirah and Cabernet Sauvignon) and 2 natives (Calabrese Nero and Nocera), processed both as a blend and in purity, to satisfy the taste of every palate.
The cellar is thermo-conditioned, equipped with the most recent technologies and a barrique cellar of allier oak barrels for the refinement and aging of Palizzi PGI wine.
The presence of a guesthouse not far from the sea is an important incentive for wine tourism in the area.
