  • a kilo of pork ribs
  • 2 Tropea onions
  • 2 chillies
  • red wine
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • salt
  • black pepper

The recipe starts with slicing and browning the pork ribs in a drizzle of oil for about 10 minutes. Then follows the addition of a glass of wine, salt, pepper and one of the Calabrian PGI brand products: Tropea red onion thinly sliced.

After another 10 minutes, another Tropea red onion and chilies are added, seasoned to taste with pepper and extra virgin olive oil, and cooked for another 10 minutes.
