L'Aquila d'oro
The trattoria L'Aquila d'Oro is the only restaurant in the historic center of Cirò, in the province of Crotone, a few kilometers from the Ionian Sea. A rustic and familiar environment seating 40, with a beautiful garden and outdoor seating in the summer, opens in an area known for its production of fine Cirò DOC wine.
The cuisine is homemade, with traditional dishes combined with a rich cellar of regional labels. Among the specialties of the house: onions and pitta bread with sardines appetizer, cavatelli pasta with meatball sauce, anchovies and pipi (peppers), pipi and cod, stigghiolata (grilled lamb guts) and finally, to close with a genuidde dessert.
