La Collinetta
In Martone, going up towards the center of Gioiosa Ionica, province of Reggio Calabria, you will find the tavern La Collinetta, which was born from the initiative of the chef-patron Giuseppe Trimboli and boasts a Slow Food Snail.
A place with a precise identity, focused on the recipes of traditional Calabrian cuisine, handed down from the experience of mama Rosa and innovated with care and a careful choice of ingredients. The products used are organic, grown on the family farm, the Santa Dominica estate.
Among the specialties of the house: the abundant appetizer with zucchini 'mbuttunate; legume soups; homemade durum wheat pasta served on terracotta tiles, in particulartagliolini with chestnuts and porcini mushrooms; meat and fish main courses, with cod au gratin and soaked vegetables.
