Cura Cucina Contemporanea
The young chef Melania Ruberto, of Cura Cucina Contemporanea, in Davoli Marina (CZ), trained at the Alma in Parma and in Alajmo's Michelin-starred kitchens, and now returns home, to her native Calabria, to return all the experience she has accumulated outside to her home territory.
This is why Ruberto's restaurant, in a renovated farmhouse just a stone's throw from the sea, which also serves as an accommodation facility, with rooms surrounded by centuries-old olive trees, is the dream of someone who has returned to innovate.
The cuisine serves local products, from a generous land, ranging from fish to meat and mountain fruits and flavours, all with a touch of contemporary personal flair. An excellence also recognised by the prestigious Gambero Rosso guide.
