Ramirez House (or House of the Thousand)
The Landing at Melito di Porto Salvo is the episode that marked the beginning of Garibaldi's army's operations on the continental part of the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies. It took place on the night between 18 and 19 August 1860. Among the symbolic places is the Ramirez House, where Garibaldi stayed immediately after the landing.
