Open-air Theatre

The open-air theatre in the locality of Motta is a modern construction near the Marina di Palmi. Lying along a ridge of Monte Sant'Elia, the theatre enjoys a natural panoramic position overlooking the Strait of Messina, the Aeolian Islands, Bagnara Calabra and Scilla. Designed by architects Rosaria Zoccali and Domenico Abbia, and engineer Bruno Cassone, the theatre has a seating capacity of 1,000 and regularly hosts cultural events and shows.
