Norman Castle

The Norman Castle of Stilo was built by Roger II on Mount Consolino in the 11th century. Rectangular in shape and surrounded by defensive works, today it shows the ruins of the perimeter walls, towers and gates, destroyed by the French during the war with Charles V in the 16th century.
