Mother Church
The Mother Church of Serra San Bruno is dedicated to San Biagio, the patron saint of the town. The local granite façade was designed by the Serrese architect Biagio Scaramuzzino and completed by another Serrese architect, Salomone Barillari, during the second half of the 19th century.
Notable on the bell loggias are two marble angels from the early 17th century from the Charterhouse and attributed to the German sculptor David Müller.
The three-nave interior is rich in works of art, some of which are of considerable value.
