Centro Iconografico Arbëreshë

The Iconografic Arberëschë Centre was born in the nineties as a place of documentation and research on culture, music, history and traditions of Albanians in Calabria. The Museum houses a permanent exhibition of "Arberëschë Traditions and Culture" at Miceli Palace. The Museum is divided into two sections with about 20 exhibition rooms: on the ground floor, the "Material Culture", tools of local rural culture; upstairs the "Traditional Practices", related to the cycle of the year and to the cycle of man. In addition, an extensive photographic collection of clothes and objects of the community.
