Archaeological Park of the Roman Villa of Larderia
The Archaeological Park of the Roman Villa of Larderia is located on the left bank of the Occido river. Beginning in 1973, the year of the first important discovery, a series of excavations have brought to light impressive wall structures belonging to the general layout of a Roman villa datable between the 1st and 4th centuries. One of the most important pieces from the villa is a mosaic with plant and geometric motifs. The western sector consists of a large thermal complex (2nd century) divided into nine rooms.
