Oleificio Torchia
The Oleificio Torchia is over the hills of the Presila of Catanzaro, in the municipality of Tiriolo.
The Torchia family has been involved in this activity since 1959 and passionately takes care of the entire production cycle. The olive trees grown on the family's estate are of 3 different types: Carolea, the native and most widespread species in the area: Coratina and Nocellara.
Since 2017 the Oleificio Torchia has also received the Slow Food Presidium for Italian extra virgin olive oil.
Among the other activities carried out in the company are tasting courses, guided tours and educational initiatives, among which sensory experiences stand out.
In addition, the Oleificio Torchia can host visitors.
